WHAT IS SOCIAL SECURITY ?

1. Social insurance regimes in Vietnam
(1) For participants in compulsory social insurance:

Sickness regime (OĐ)

Maternity regime (TS)
-
Occupational accident and occupational disease regime (TNLĐ&BNN)
-
Retirement regime (HT)
-
Death mode (TT)
(2) For participants in voluntary social insurance including: Retirement and Death pension
2. Compulsory social insurance regimes
-
At work and during working hours;
-
Outside the workplace or outside working hours when performing work at the request of the employer;
-
On the way to and from residence to work within a reasonable amount of time and route.

Deterioration of working capacity by 5% or more.

Sick is on the list of occupational diseases promulgated by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs when working in an environment or profession with toxic elements.

Decline in working capacity of 5% or more due to illness specified in Clause 1 of this Article.

Male labor retirement in 2018 is 16 years, 2019 is 17 years, 2020 is 18 years, 2021 is 19 years, and from 2022 onwards is 20 years;

Female workers retire from 2018 onwards for 15 years.

Then every additional year, employees specified at points a and b of this clause are charged an additional 2%; the maximum is 75%.

Have paid social insurance for 15 years or more but have not received social insurance once;

Are enjoying a pension;
-
Death due to occupational accidents and diseases;

Being entitled to monthly allowances for occupational accidents and diseases with a decrease in working capacity of 61% or more.
